As an Engineer at Geviton, I have consistently demonstrated strong leadership and collaborative skills. I have become a trusted point of contact for colleagues, providing guidance, technical insights, and consultation on various engineering challenges. My role extends beyond individual contribution. I oversee cross-functional project teams, ensuring projects move seamlessly from prototyping to Design for Manufacturing (DFM), while meeting client requirements, compliance standards, and timely delivery. I strongly believe that sustainable organizational growth is driven by deliberate talent development. To support this, I have designed structured training frameworks that accelerate onboarding and professional maturity at Geviton.
- Graduate Development: Successfully guided 2 graduate trainees into full-time professional roles.
- Academic Mentorship: Supervised 6 university attaches, introducing and evaluating their progress in firmware development and PCB design.
- Training Development: Built comprehensive roadmaps to introduce junior talent to the fundamentals of embedded systems.
Professional Excellence Award
My contributions to leadership and professional development have been formally recognized. In December 2025, I received the Professional Excellence Award, School of Engineering, Awarded by the Dedan Kimathi University of Technology Alumni Association , and presented by Prof. Eng. Peter Muchiri, Vice Chancellor Dedan Kimathi University of Technology , acknowledging my professional impact and leadership.
This honor marked me as the first recipient of the award.
